What they
say about Medinah#3
(comments taken from reviews, email and forums)
As of this date (7/28/01), this may be the best of the APCD recreations so far.
In a word - WOW!!
-John Buesing
I've played it. Then I played it again. Then I looked at it some more. I still haven't stopped shaking my head. I've got the review written and I'll post it a little later.

Course Reviewer For: PGC
Got this course from BJ's yesterday, I believe that it will become a big favourite with everyone real soon. It has certainly shot high into my own 'top ten'.
I do not know enough about the real course or
the apcd to comment on its authentic or technical merit. However from a players point of view it is fantastic, great rolling fairways, the length of a championship type course, difficult par 3's , the putting
surfaces are a real challenge, and then THAT clubhouse. Anyway do yourselves a favour
GO DOWNLOAD IT NOW!! Well done to John Pineda and anyone else involved in the project.

I downloaded your course last night and it`s fantastic. I`m not really familiar with the real course but hey what the hell, it`s how it plays and anyone who likes to break the snap at the top of the swing meter is gonna have to think again! I have noticed a lot more courses providing a tougher but fairer test and yours is now at no. 1 in my list. Great work mate. What`s your next project?Best Regards

Yessiree! My brother and I played an online stroke match this weekend, and LOVED the course...This course has a championship feel to it and REALLY feels like a course that would host a US Open...Nothing terribly fancy, just rock-solid layout and design, and BRUTALLY tight off the tee (especially for us hacker PS'ers ).
Play it windy, firm, fast and difficult pins and you'll SWEAR you're in a Sunday Championship round. Thanks for this great work! I'll be playing at Medinah a lot

This course is now my number one favorite. I LOVE these traditional courses, all of which have that "old" look to them: plain fairways with little curvature, elevated greens with lots of break, and huge deciduous trees on both sides of the fairway. I can just picture Ben Hogan walking up the fairway of this course. Great job John. By the way, your bunkering skills around the greens are the best I've seen to date.

Awesome job!!! Played it last night for the first time. Very challenging. I totally enjoyed the experience.
I look forward to your next offering.

Just wanted to add my comments. I think it is one of the best courses I have downloaded.

Simply superb! This was pleasure to look at and to play. Played in BMMM, conditions, back tees, no top cam (previews only) and came in at -4, which is pretty good for me, even thought I am only a lowly a Pro clicker. It is definitely a hooker's course though, especially the back nine. I found myself moving to the right side of many of the tee boxes and still setting up for a draw. And I used several 3 woods off the tees to keep the ball in play, since I haven't had a chance to really learn the course yet.
A great course and well worth the hefty download, even if you are on a 56k dialup like me.
